              CHAPTER 6- Evil

The next morning everyone stood, gathered around Principal Krypton. He announced that an 8:00 hike would take place after breakfast. Kishie was thrilled to hear about the activity, little did she know what craziness the day would truly bring. Kishie's class was paired with Astra, Pavo, and, June's group June was another girl Kishie had seen around the school, but hadn't had the chance to personally meet.
"Hi," Kishie said to June, still reflecting some of her excitement in her voice. "This is going to be so much fun! Don't you think?"
June had wavy, blonde hair that stretched to her stomach and light blue eyes that made her look extremely pretty. "Yeah," she mumbled dully. "It , like, makes me feel, like, sooooooo in touch with all the, ya know...naatuuure." She stared out into the forest and squinted her eyes. Kishie raised an eyebrow and looked at where she was pointing. All she saw were trees and birds.
"Um...yeah..." She began to slowly slink away from the girl who was staring at was seemed to be moss on a rock. Kishie didn't even know if the girl noticed she was gone. At the point, she turned to Miru. "Well," she said. "Let's get going!" She threw a fist into the air as if a baseball were in it and began to trot along the path. When she noticed no one was following her, she glanced over her shoulder. Pavo was talking to Astrid, June was staring into space, and Miru was looking at her. She got an odd feeling, like something was wrong, but she shook it off and shouted, "C'mon you guys!" At that everyone started along the trail with their giant backpacks and all.
They were all assigned buddies; Astrid was with Vincent, Kishie with Pavo, and Horus with June. The trail wasn't as exciting as Kishie thought. They walked. Oh, they walked all right. after only the first mile and a half when Kishie was beginning to get annoyed by people's complaints. "I'm tired." "I'm hot." "Why are there so many roots?" "What's the point of this?" "I'm a dysfunctional loser who doesn't deserve to go to this school." Okay, maybe not the last one, but it seems that way when they're constantly being chanted by the group, mostly Horus, though.
"Hey, Kishie!" Pavo called. He was bent over his shoes. "Wait! My shoelaces are untied!" She stopped for a minute while he carefully tied his shoelaces. Then, he got a knot in them and it took forever to get it untied, including shoving and fighting over who could do it. Kishie ended up pushing him aside, untangling the shoelaces and double-knotting them. She was about to continue down the trail when he interrupted, "Hey, you tied my shoe's too tight!"
At that moment, Kishie turned around with a glare that could've fought off one hundred warriors and directed it straight at Pavo. "We've been working on the devil's laces for fifteen minutes! The group is probably, like, half-a-mile ahead of us! Now, either let the laces cut off the circulation in your feet or take the damn shoes off!"
Pavo sat there, half surprised, half scared, but he jumped up, "Don't worry about the group. I know a shortcut. We'll be able to catch up, no sweat."
"Alright," Kishie replied. "But if you get us lost I just might kill you." So, they began their trek through the forest. Over moss covered rocks, through thorn-ridden bushes, and past countless trees. After around a half hour Kishie stopped short, "Are you sure this is the right way? We should've at least passed another trail by now." Kishie swung her finger to her left side. "I say we head North. See that mountain? If we head toward it we'll eventually hit the lake. There should be other trails there that can lead us to the group."
Suddenly, a streak of light ran across the sky and threw dark clouds everywhere, followed by a deep shriek that filled the air. Rain started pouring down and Pavo snatched Kishie's hand and ran toward a nearby cave that seemed to appear out of nowhere. Kishie hadn't noticed it earlier.
Pavo and Kishie plopped themselves down in the cave, slightly damp. Kishie blushed when she noticed that Pavo hadn't let go of her hand, even though they were in the cave. Kishie liked Pavo, but she also was confused about Miru. She thought she had feelings for Pavo, but yesterday, at the lake made her wonder who she really loved. Being alone in the woods with Pavo made her feel closer to him. Pavo looked over at Kishie and she bit her bottom lip, but their gaze was broken by a low growl, then Kishie jumped when she heard more. Suddenly they were surrounded by glowing eyes... wolves. Kishie was about to scream when a hand covered her mouth and pulled her into darkness..........

Why did you put so many periods after "darkness"? There should only be one.
